Right-click or long-press (mobile) anywhere in the document to bring up the extended menu.

Documents

When a document is opened, in the left window, you will have access to the table of contents and the library

Additionally, a tool icon appears to the right of the search field.

Clicking on the tool icon provides the option to:

  • View the document's properties (metadata, revision history, comments and text highlights, bookmarks, and questions).

  • Subscribe to the document

  • Download the document

  • View the document in a wide format

The icon shows/hides the TOC/library when a document is open.

Right-click in the document

If you right-click on text (press and hold on mobile devices) in the document (must be logged in), you get the following options:

  • Highlight text

  • Create a bookmark

  • Add a comment

  • Copy link

  • Print the desired text

A frame around the text indicates which text applies. Right-clicking on a title will apply to the subsequent text as well.

Highlighting text

Highlight the text you want to yellow out. Right-click and choose "Add highlight." The highlighted text will now be marked in yellow.

To remove highlighted text, left-click on the highlighted text, and a dialog box will open, click OK to "Delete highlight?"

Creating a bookmark

Right-click on the title or text you want to bookmark. A dialog box opens. You are free to name the bookmark as you wish. If you clicked on a title, the title will be suggested as the bookmark name. Click "Save" to save the bookmark.

To delete a bookmark, click on the bookmark icon and click "Remove."

Adding a comment

Right-click on the text you want to comment on. Then choose "Add comment." A dialog box opens.

Enter the title and the comment itself. You can choose whether the comment should be private or public. In addition, you can check whether the document owner should be notified. Then click "Save."

A comment appears in the document like this:

To delete or add a new comment, click on the comment. Then choose whether you want to continue commenting or delete. Click either "Remove" or "Save."

Copying link

Right-click at the desired location in the document, choose "Copy link." The link address is now copied. Paste the link where desired.

Printing the desired text

Highlight the text you want to print. Right-click and choose "Print selection." A dialog box opens containing a preview of the selected text and settings for whether you want to print the text or save it as a PDF
